Kane School Pilates Teacher Training
Date: Coming in Summer of 2020

Directed by Kelly Kane and Matt McCulloch, the Kane School Pilates certification is a rigorous training program combining the classic principles of Pilates with a modern, clinical perspective on the body. The program crafts advanced teachers with x-ray vision—teachers with solid knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and injuries as well as the skills to perceive and improve them. Graduates work in variety of settings across the fitness, wellness, and medical worlds. The full teacher training includes Foundation Training (Core Muscle Anatomy), Comprehensive Mat, and Basic Training equipment certifications.

Core Muscle Anatomy with Briana Kline and/or Sally Donbauer DPT
Dates: July 2020 (tentatively)

Prerequisite for:  Comprehensive Mat & Basic Training equipment certification
FORMAT: 4 days – spread over 2 weeks – 8 hours each day (with break)

Comprehensive Mat with Briana Kline
Dates: July – August 2020

Prerequisites: Core Muscle Anatomy or passing grade on anatomy entrance exam
Example FORMAT: Two weekends, Sat/Sun, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

BASIC TRAINING (EQUIPMENT)

PREREQ: Core Muscle Anatomy and Comprehensive Mat
FORMAT: Weekend + Intensive tracks available.

Module 1: Teaching & Touch Primer, The Healthy Client, lumbopelvic Region
Module 2: Head, Neck & Ribs, Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist, & Hand
Module 3: Hip, Knee
Module 4: Ankle & Foot, Clients Over 60

WEEKEND – FALL/ WINTER 2020 – 2021

FORMAT: 1 Sat/Sun per month, 10:00am – 5:00pm
